To put it even simpler, API is \u201ca language\u201d that allows applications to exchange information and use their functionalities. For example, you can check the weather directly on your phone screen by using a weather forecast API. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The potential of API is equal to your programming knowledge. So, if you don\u2019t know how to use it, we suggest sticking to the Customer Portal or using a ready integration<\/a>. A programming interface will be necessary for creating your own solution, e.g. an app that sends SMS notifications to your clients. You will probably need to use our SMS API Libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Majority of API-related issues can be solved by reading the Documentation in which we have thoroughly explained all functionalities and modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The term means a ready-to-use connection between SMSAPI and another platform<\/strong>, e.g. e-commerce, CRM (customer relationship management) or CMS (content management system). SMS sending API connected to e-mail platform allows you to conduct consistent communication based on multiple channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Customer Portal is more than enough to send quick campaigns based on contact databases (imported from a .csv file), but more sophisticated projects<\/strong> will require integration with external platforms. The connection between systems is possible with API implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
