There\u2019s no doubt that technology is essentially a part of modern sports. Technological novelties are present everywhere: on stadiums, inside the gear and also in hands of coaches and players. The advantages of such improvements are the subject of this article. We\u2019re talking with Tomasz Cybulski \u2013 the cofounder of ProTrainUp \u2013 company that dominated the Polish sports IT industry.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s start from the beginning, what\nProTrainUp is?<\/h2>\n\n\n

The ProTrainUp company creates IT solutions for the sports industry. Recently, we have started our expansion to the education branch. In our portfolio are three major IT systems: ProTrainUp \u2013 sports team management system<\/strong>, SportLiveTag \u2013 video-analysis system and Sokrates System \u2013 a teacher rating and promotion tool, it also helps with pedagogical supervision at schools and preschools. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Could you tell me more about club management software? To whom is it dedicated? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ProTrainUp<\/a>\u00a0system is dedicated to sports federations, European clubs<\/strong>, no matter their size and skill level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Federations already using it are: Polski Zwi\u0105zek Koszyk\u00f3wki, Zwi\u0105zek Pi\u0142ki R\u0119cznej w Polsce, Polski Zwi\u0105zek Tenisa Sto\u0142owego. Among clubs are: Slovan Liberec, Nika Kij\u00f3w, Zag\u0142\u0119bie Lubin, Lechia Gda\u0144sk, Korona Kielce, Wis\u0142a P\u0142ock, Pogo\u0144 Szczecin, Jagiellonia Bia\u0142ystok, \u015al\u0105sk Wroc\u0142aw, Zag\u0142\u0119bie Sosnowiec, Arka Gdynia and Coerver Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Almost 400 clubs and sports academies are using our system. This makes us an undisputed leader sport IT in Poland.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

How does it work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019re two ways to access the system. The web version offers a full range of functionalities, including drawing and animation creators. The mobile app, on the other hand, has only the most essential functionalities but offers multiple communication solutions<\/strong>, e.g. absence, cancelation, date or place change, match or meeting notifications.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Which version is more popular?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The majority of players and their parents choose the app. It\u2019s extremely convenient, and at the same time necessary, to have all the information always at hand. We\u2019re close to 10 000 installations<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019re the main functions of the system?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The system allows managing teams, payments<\/strong>, and the creation of exercise sets, training schedules, and attendance tables. The majority of functionalities are available with a couple of clicks<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, the administrator can grant access to the system to the club\u2019s employees, like accountant, physiotherapist, scout or motor preparation coach. Moreover, the players as well as their parents have access to all their statistics<\/strong>, schedules and payment info.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t expect everyone is using these\nfunctionalities. How can you remind about the forgotten payment?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ProTrainUp provides multiple communication methods<\/strong>. The in-app notification<\/strong> is a basic one. Usually, clubs use them to inform about matches, training, cancelations or schedule or location changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s hard to make parents download and actually use a mobile app but luckily for us, a phone number is required during club signup. Keeping this in mind, the integration with a bulk SMS system<\/a><\/strong> was a natural step. And so, we\u2019re able to provide sports teams with an efficient text message<\/strong> communication channel able to reach parents, players and employees. And it works as intended! <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
