Separate individual recipients with a comma. Remember to <strong>add a country prefix<\/strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp;each number.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ssl.smsapi.com\/sms\/gate\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/smsapi-sms-fast-gateway.png\" alt=\"Send text messages from the SMS gateway\" class=\"wp-image-3287\" width=\"650\" height=\"349\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">SMS gateway in the SMSAPI Customer Portal is the most basic method of sending text messages to clients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>By default, <strong>one SMS&nbsp;can&nbsp;contain 160 characters<\/strong>. If you&#8217;d like to send longer messages, use the multipart feature. Such text messages consist of multiple SMS but are displayed as one on the receiver&#8217;s mobile phone. Be aware that older phones might not support multipart SMS. Each part is charged as one SMS&nbsp;message. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/smsapi-sms-fast-gateway-character-number.png\" alt=\"Number of messages and characters left counters in the SMS gateway\" class=\"wp-image-3292\" width=\"650\" height=\"339\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The number of messages and characters left are displayed below the content field<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Special symbols, like emoticons or diacritical signs,&nbsp;are counted&nbsp;as more&nbsp;than one character &#8211; so it&#8217;s important to remember this when preparing&nbsp;a&nbsp;campaign.&nbsp;<strong>Check the&nbsp;number&nbsp;of SMS&nbsp;parts<\/strong>&nbsp;when creating&nbsp;a body of the message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"link\">Link in the SMS message<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to regular text, you can add emoticons and shorten links using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/en\/url-shortener\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cut.li link shortening service<\/a>. Short\u00a0URLs save valuable characters in messages, <strong>add files, and direct recipients to websites<\/strong>. This is an individual link, thanks to which the recipient will be automatically unsubscribed from your contact group or newsletter in the SMSAPI\u00a0Customer Portal.\u00a0You will learn more about opt-out links in the\u00a04<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0episode.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/smsapi-sms-fast-gateway-sending-options.png\" alt=\"Additional sending options of the SMS gateway\" class=\"wp-image-3297\" width=\"250\" height=\"211\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional SMS sending options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On the right side of the&nbsp;message creation field, there are extra options.&nbsp;If you click \u201cReplace special chars\u201d and your message contains Unicode UTF-8 characters, they will be replaced with standard ones.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selecting the Flash option means that it will immediately appear on the phone screen without saving it in the inbox when the recipient gets the message. However, it&#8217;s important to remember that <strong>Flash messages do not support special characters<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"infobox infobox--attention post-content--full-width\">\n  <div class=\"infobox__icon\">\n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/themes\/smsapi-blog-2021\/assets\/icons\/exclamation.svg\">\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"infobox__title\">\n    <h4>Prioritizing your messages<\/h4>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"infobox__content\">\n    Selecting the &#8220;Send fast&#8221; option will give a priority over all other campaigns in the SMSAPI queue. Please remember that <strong>this option also increases the cost by 1.5 times<\/strong>. \n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In the&nbsp;options section, you can also&nbsp;schedule&nbsp;your campaign up to three months ahead. If you often use similar message content, you can <strong>define ready-made templates<\/strong>.&nbsp;Okay, your message is&nbsp;ready,&nbsp;and we can send it.
