It provides the customers with an <strong>easy way to subscribe directly to your database<\/strong> in SMSAPI. By default, this function is inactive, so please activate it once the configuration is completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"widget\">Newsletter SMS widget<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/smsapi-customer-portal-left-menu-additional-functions.png\" alt=\"Additional functions menu in the SMSAPI Customer Portal\" class=\"wp-image-3334\" width=\"250\" height=\"662\"\/><figcaption>Find all advanced features in the Additional function tab<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In the beginning, you have to <strong>choose the&nbsp;subscription type<\/strong>. You can&nbsp;pick&nbsp;either&nbsp;entering&nbsp;the selected group, which&nbsp;you have to&nbsp;specify in advance or give the user a choice when filling out the form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the phone number, you can decide which additional and custom fields should appear in the form and which are required.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below&nbsp;you can find&nbsp;SMS message&nbsp;settings.&nbsp;Remember to select the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/sender-id-how-to-send-branded-sms-company-name\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"3021\">sender&nbsp;name<\/a>&nbsp;from which a verification SMS will be sent.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To encourage potential contacts to subscribe to your database, you might give a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/en\/discount-codes\">discount code<\/a>. To do so, you must select a group of discount codes. Such a group can be created or uploaded in the Discount codes section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You&nbsp;can&nbsp;also&nbsp;limit the number of requests&nbsp;received&nbsp;from a single number&nbsp;within&nbsp;24 hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"edit\">Edit SMS notifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Then\u00a0create\u00a0or modify\u00a0the content of three\u00a0types of\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/en\/sms-notifications\">SMS notifications<\/a>: <strong>verification<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>confirmation\u00a0of a complete\u00a0subscription<\/strong>\u00a0and after <strong>unsubscribing<\/strong>. Also, each message may contain the &#8220;name&#8221; parameter and an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/en\/opt-out-sms\">opt-out\u00a0link<\/a> for a\u00a0quick\u00a0unsubscription.\u00a0<strong>We strongly recommend\u00a0inserting\u00a0the\u00a0verify code parameter in Verification SMS<\/strong> because it\u00a0helps you authorise the user with\u00a0an\u00a0SMS message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also enter your phone number, which\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0notified when\u00a0a new contact has been subscribed. The last step is the &#8220;Source&#8221; tab, in which it is possible to provide a <strong>direct link to the form<\/strong> or&nbsp;<strong>copy&nbsp;the widget code<\/strong> and place the selected configuration on your website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is worth remembering that the <strong>application will be active if there are at least 6 points on the account<\/strong> to\u00a0ensure the SMS delivery with a verification code.
