Messages can be sent to recipients entered manually (as in the standard gateway) or in the Numbers from\u00a0phonebook tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In both cases,\u00a0you\u00a0start by selecting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/sender-id-how-to-send-branded-sms-company-name\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"3021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sender\u00a0name<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0recipients&#8217;\u00a0field by entering them or selecting the target group. In the case of groups, it is possible to\u00a0personalize the message\u00a0with additional fields, e.g. gender or location. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then\u00a0create\u00a0the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/basics-of-content-marketing-in-your-sms-campaign\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"719\" target=\"_blank\">message content<\/a> with parameters, emoticons\u00a0or\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/en\/url-shortener\" target=\"_blank\">short links<\/a>, and specify the intervals for sending the message (date and time of the first text, repetition period and\u00a0the\u00a0end\u00a0date\u00a0of the cycle). <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"infobox infobox--attention post-content--full-width\">\n  <div class=\"infobox__icon\">\n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/blog\/wp-content\/themes\/smsapi-blog-2021\/assets\/icons\/exclamation.svg\">\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"infobox__title\">\n    <h4>Always up to date<\/h4>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"infobox__content\">\n    The system schedules SMS messages to defined recipients <strong>24 hours in advance<\/strong> in order to include the most up-to-date recipient bases. \n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In the&nbsp;Periodic SMS list&nbsp;tab,&nbsp;there is a table with all defined recurring&nbsp;campaigns&nbsp;with the option of editing or deleting them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"birthday\">Birthday SMS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/ssl.smsapi.com\/birthday_sms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Birthday SMS<\/a>\u00a0feature, which\u00a0is in\u00a0the Additional functions\u00a0menu, is used for the <strong>annual delivery of birthday wishes<\/strong>. The condition for running the birthday campaigns is a database with birthdays uploaded to the\u00a0SMSAPI service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To activate&nbsp;the feature, change the activity status to &#8220;Yes&#8221;. As in the case of a&nbsp;Periodic&nbsp;SMS, you should <strong>set the duration,&nbsp;the exact hour&nbsp;of delivery&nbsp;and define the&nbsp;moment&nbsp;when the message should be sent<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; on the&nbsp;birthday&nbsp;or certain amount of&nbsp;days&nbsp;before or after.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As in a regular campaign choose&nbsp;the group of recipients, the sender&nbsp;name&nbsp;and&nbsp;optionally&nbsp;group of discount codes previously generated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smsapi.com\/en\/discount-codes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Discount codes<\/a> tab. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the field below, enter the content of the wishes along with the parameters, emoticons or links. Before launching your campaign, it&#8217;s good to test the&nbsp;campaign&nbsp;on your phone number. After completing the configuration, click &#8220;Add&#8221;.
